Regina King Obituary
Carthage - Regina King, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Regina was born on September 30, 1935, in Rochester, NY, to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Anderson) Evaul. She graduated from Lake Erie College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Education from Murray State University in Kentucky. Regina worked as an elementary school teacher for over 33 years at various schools across the country.
She married Robert A. King on December 28, 1957, and they were married for 64 years before Robert’s passing on July 31, 2022.
Regina is survived by her daughters, Linda Casady of CO, and Marybeth (Kenneth) Showalter of VA.
Arrangements are with the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., located at 500 State Street, Carthage, NY 13619. Online condolences in her memory can be made to www.lundyfuneralhome.com. No services will be held.
In place of flowers, donations can be made to the Society of the Transfiguration, https://ctsisters.org/ in Glendale, Ohio.
