Regina Sik-King Lim, lovingly known as Regina to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Goodyear, Arizona to be with her loving late husband Ming-Kwock Lim. Born on February 4, 1944, in China, Regina's journey spanned 81 years of a life marked by her move to the United States at the age of 17 via a long boat ride, then finishing high school and attended some college to adapt to the American way of life, followed by her marriage to Ming-Kwock Lim in which they had two girls together (Joanne and Christina), continued with her loyalty and dedication to her amazing career with Transamerica, while maintaining love, and a passion for the beauty found in art and music.
Regina's early years in China laid the foundation for a life characterized by resilience and the pursuit of the American dream. Her transition to life in the United States was a testament to her strength and determination, qualities that would remain with her throughout her life. Regina's vibrant spirit and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her, and her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends.
Regina's professional life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to her work. She retired after 35 years of dedicated service with Transamerica, where she was not only a valued employee but also a cherished colleague.
