Reginald DeBerry Sr.

Reginald DeBerry Sr., age 83, of Browns Summit passed away peacefully July 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 3, 1938 in Scotland County, North Carolina the son of the late Thomas DeBerry and Amezell Medlin DeBerry. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Annie McDonald, Fannie DeBerry, Joyce Sims, Irene Murphy and Robert DeBerry.
Reginald was a man of faith who loved the Lord and a member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time gardening, fishing with his buddy Wendell and watching Westerns aka the shoot'em ups. Most of all he was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who adored spending time in the company of those he loved.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Reginald DeBerry Jr. (Lisa), Regina Hopkins (Wendell), P. Sabrina Hamm (Clinton), Sherline McLean (Demetrius); grandchildren, Christoffer DeBerry, Cameron DeBerry, Elisia Miller, Donald Watkins, Christian Hamm, Brianna Hamm, Zaria Hamm, Allen McLean, Jaden McLean and Lauryn McLean; great grandchildren, Ashlee, Alasia and Jordyn White, Massiah Donald and Dallas DeBerry, and Elliott Watkins; siblings, Mary Sams, Thomas DeBerry (Shirley) and Geraldine Champion; special niece, Paulette "Rashelle" DeBerry; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A service will be held 11 AM Friday, July 22, 2022 at White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2600 Assembly Road, Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
