Reginald P. (Popcorn) Harris passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025 surrounded by the deep love of his devoted family.

Reginald was the oldest child born to Scavelle and Dorothy Harris on November 15, 1936. He was a native of Plateau, Alabama and was a 1955 graduate of Mobile County Training School. After graduating from high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Reginald was employed by Scott Paper Company for 33 years.

Reginald was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He also served as a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Council 350. In 2017, he was a recipient of the Christ the King medal.

Reginald was preceded in death by his parents Scavelle and Dororthy Harris, and his brothers John Smith, Harold Harris, Herbert Harris, and Collis Harris.

Reginald leaves to cherish and honor his memory a devoted wife, Lillian, daughters Karen (Elijah Jr.) Abrams, Brenda Harris-Thomas, Stephanie (Zachary) Beamon, sons Samuel (Davida) Cunningham, Reginald L (Brenda) Harris, and Corey (Catherine) Harris, his brother, William (Barbara) Harris, one devoted niece, Miskia Barnes, one sister-in-law, Bessie L. Knight, and one lifelong devoted friend, Alfred Cook.

Reginald also leaves to cherish his memory his beloved grandchildren Elijah III, Brittany, Kandice, Roderick (Amber), Reagan, Kori, Reginald Jair (Kamree), Samuel, Deandra, Zachary, and Kennedy.

Reginald also leaves to cherish his memory his great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
