Reginald Thomas Powers, 79, of Boynton Beach passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Jacksonville Center for Rehabilitation. “Reg” was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 24, 1946, the son of Clarence Lee and Grace Palmer Powers. He and his brother grew up in Dallas, North Carolina.
Mr. Powers would proudly serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he would go into maintenance work. Reginald enjoyed spending his free time with friends and will be remembered for his generous heart and caring spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brother, James “Jim” Powers of Gaffney, South Carolina; as well as a few close friends.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
