Reisse Leigh Perin

Reisse Leigh Perin passed away in the early morning hours of April 11, 2025. His parents, Murel L. Perin and Wanda Mavis White, had three sonsReisse, the eldest, followed by Dan Perin and Wayne Perin. Reisse was born in Newport, Washington, on September 8, 1948.
He spent most of his early life in Northern Idaho. After graduating from high school in Worley, Idaho, in 1966, he eventually went to work for Boeing in Renton, Washington. This sparked his love of planes. When duty called, Reisse joined the Navy in 1968 and served during the Vietnam War with the VP-1 P-3 Patrol Squadron.
Upon completing his tours of duty, Reisse attended the University of Idaho and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in accounting. He passed the Certified Public Accountant exam on his first try, moved to Boise, and, within a few years, opened his own CPA practice. Reisse maintained his business for nearly 50 years and was proud to say he enjoyed serving his clients across multiple generations.
Reisse and Geraldine "Jerry" Lamm met later in life, quickly fell in love, and married in 1993. He found himself surrounded by a close, extended family. In 2000, Reisse and Jerry moved to Emmett, Idaho, and built a home on 10 acreslarge enough to gather their extended family for holidays and other celebrations. One of his fondest memories was driving the tractor with his granddaughter, Taylor, on his lap.
After 15 years, Reisse and Jerry moved to Eagle, Idaho, to be closer to family. His family meant the world to him, and he often spoke with great pride and affection about "his" family.
Reisse is survived by his wife; his stepson, Eric Holloway; daughter-in-law, Brittany Holloway; granddaughter, Taylor Holloway; his brother, Wayne Perin; and extended family, including Skip and Shelley Lamm, Mike and Sharon Lamm, Jolene McGimpsey, and many longtime friends who will miss him dearly.
