Rene Roland Pelletier, 83, of Danvers, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Born in Salem on March 10, 1942, he was the son of the late Rene and Cecile (Rheaume) Pelletier. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Rene served honorably in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he enjoyed a long career in automotive sales with Curtis Industries.

Rene was a former president of the S-Kimos Ski Club in Jackson, New Hampshire. He was an avid skier and also loved playing tennis, golf, and spending time fishing. His love for the outdoors, travel, and enthusiasm for sports created many lifelong friendships and fond memories.

He is survived by his son, Michael Pelletier of Everett; his brother, Jean Pelletier of Naples, Florida; his former wife, JoAnn Pelletier of Everett; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Romagnoli.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15, at 10:00 a.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm Street, Danvers Square. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
