Rene Kirk Rousselle Sr.

Rene Kirk Rousselle, Sr., 58 years old of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, April 29, 1956, in Banbury, England to Walter and Stephanie Rousselle. Rene loved life and was an avid hunter who also loved spending time with his family. Rene is survived by his loving wife, Mary Roberts Rousselle, his son, Rene Kirk Rousselle, Jr. and his wife Tiffany, daughter, Krissi Haag and her husband Brandon, stepdaughters, Tammy Purvis and Charlene Cowan and her husband John, grandchildren, Christopher, Angelica, Allison, Jordon, Hunter, Camrun, Braydon, Rylan, Jordan and Marissa, brothers, Adrien and Pierre Rousselle, sisters, Katrina and Jasmine, parents, Walter and Stephenie Rousselle, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by his son in law Billy Purvis and mother in law Helen Roberts. The Family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond and Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 9:00am - 11:30 am at Our Lady Of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Rene's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:30am in the church. Interment will follow in the Pompeii Mausoleum Tickfaw.
