She was a woman of quiet grace, deep creativity, and boundless love, whose life was defined by service to others and an appreciation for beauty in all its forms. Renee´ touched countless lives through her talents, her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her generous heart. She was a proud graduate of Kearsley High School, Class of 1973. Following her passion for creativity, Renee´ attended cosmetology school in Baltimore, Maryland, where her natural talent and dedication shone brightly. In 1977, Renee´ won a state competition, earning the honor of representing her school-an achievement that reflected both her skill and her determination. On May 17, 1975, Renee´ Gonyea married Gerald Eavy at Calvert Park Church of God in Burton, Michigan. This church held special meaning for Renee´, as it was where she grew up and nurtured her faith. Throughout her life, her faith in her savior, Jesus Christ, remained a steady foundation, and Renee´ was an active and devoted attendee of Living Water Wesleyan Church in Davison, Michigan. Her professional life was marked by creativity and compassion. Renee´ was a talented hairdresser, a skilled photo negative re-toucher with a keen eye for detail, and later found deep fulfillment working as a K–12 paraprofessional with Davison Community Schools. She took great pride in supporting students, offering patience, kindness, and encouragement every day. Above all, Renee´ cherished her role as a grandmother. She lovingly cared for her grandchildren until they reached kindergarten, pouring into them the same warmth and devotion that defined her life. Those years were among her most treasured. Renee´ was artistically gifted in many ways. She created beautiful pencil drawings, expressed herself through music, and loved to sing. Renee´ also found peace and joy in nature, especially in gazing upon the water-quietly taking in its beauty, reflection, and calm, much like the way she moved through life. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, creative soul, and unwavering love for her faith in her savior, Jesus Christ, her family, and her community.
