Renee L. Nelson, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 27, 1957, in Sheboygan to the late Jerome and Muriel (Littmann) Nelson.

Renee attended Sheboygan North High School and worked at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan for nearly 30 years as a Dietary Aide retiring in 2022.

Renee found a lot of her strength with becoming a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Sheboygan and found connection and peace with her church family. She will be remembered for her kind, loving, generous spirit and heart of gold. Renee lived life to the fullest making sure to do things her way. Renee was a fighter to the end and was not going to let her cancer define her. She never gave up hope and when the doctors gave her a limit, she made sure to surpass their expectations. She was a beacon of light to those who needed her and used her past experiences to help them along their journeys. Renee's family and friends meant the world to her. She cherished all of the lunches and dinners out with them. Going on adventures and experiencing new things was always something she was up for. Renee enjoyed the outdoors gardening, fishing and spending time on the water. She loved thrifting and had a passion for nostalgic things and the history behind them. She was a true animal lover and took on rescuing them when she could.

Playing scrabble and watching the ID Channel or Antique Roadshow were some of the things she liked to do to pass the time. She is going to be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Renee is survived by her daughter Heather (Mike) Rimrodt of Sun Prairie, grandchildren, Annabelle Gamez of Sheboygan, TJ Harrier of Two Rivers, Reece Rimrodt of Milwaukee, Lily Rimrodt and Chase Rimrodt both of Sun Prairie. She is further survived by her brother Alan Nelson of Sheboygan, nephew Barry (Misty) Nelson of Cleveland, great-niece Alexis Nelson of Cleveland, her furbaby Teddy and special friends Rhonda and Joe Sharpe and Jan Keppert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Jeremy Wolfe and Tyler Harrier.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 11:30 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 3215 Saemann Ave., Sheboygan, with The Rev. Lorri Steward officiating. Inurnment will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Wildwood Cemetery.
