Renee Ogle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home - Grand Prairie on Apr. 25, 2024.
Former Phoenix resident Renee Ogle (neé Bartoli), 68, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on April 15, 2024 after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert Ogle; brother Jay Bartoli of Ocala, Florida; sister Paula Jones of Prescott, Arizona; and brother Daniel Bartoli of Phoenix, Arizona. Renee is preceded in death by her mother, Joan Bartoli; her father, August Bartoli; and five dogs who were the lights of her life over the years.
Graveside Service: 10 am Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Mountain Creek Cemetery, 2099 Hardy Road, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050.
Renee rose above a number of personal setbacks, such as losing her mother at an early age, being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and dealing with early onset dementia plus a debilitating neuromuscular disease. She became a caring, loving individual with an incredible sense of fairness, kindness and loyalty, plus a strong aversion to malicious thoughts or actions. Renee simply wasn't capable of meanness or cruelty.
She was a wonderful wife and best friend to Robert, and embraced the meaning and importance of family. Renee helped loved ones through stressful and life-changing situations on numerous occasions, typically without being asked. She always seemed to know the right thing to do, and did it quietly without calling any attention to herself.
Her personal philosophy can be summed up in her favorite quote, from author Edward Everett Hale:
"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."
Now she belongs to God. Go now and rest in peace, darling.
