Renee Marie Perrotte, a loving sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully January 10, 2025, with family by her side.
Renee was born October 4, 1951, in Burlington, VT. She was adopted by Winnifred and Maurice Perrotte, capturing their hearts and those of her three older siblings: Barbara, Durward, and Marlene. She lived most of her life at the Country Park Apartments in South Burlington, VT.
Although Renee faced many physical challenges, her love of life and her family prevailed. She grew up alongside her nieces and nephews playing kick the can, challenging family to a good game of Yahtzee, and having sleepovers. She was devout in caring for her mom. Most recently Renee enjoyed a good meal, making puzzles, playing bingo, and laughing over a game of cards with friends at Country Park.
Renee was truly proud of her extended family and their accomplishments. She was known for her blue eyes, kind heart, and stoic, independent, and brave nature.
Renee is survived by her sister Marlene Rocheleau (nephews Mike, Tom, and Dave Rocheleau, nieces Sue Downing and Kathy Furlani); her "rock" and niece Judy Ingalls, who she considered a sister; her sister-in-law Connie Perrotte (nephews Kevin and Bruce Perrotte, nieces Deb Tuure, Brenda Richer, Lori Perrotte, and Jodie Bushway); her aunt Gilbert Myers; and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, sister (Barbara Gamache), aunt Mable Hardy, uncle Kenneth Myers, and uncle Archie Myers. A heartfelt thank you to her niece Judy Ingalls and Judy's family (Ray and Jeff Ingalls, Jill Mongeon, and Jessie Houser) for years of loving care and devotion.
There will be no calling hours or services. The family will have a private burial and celebration of life in the spring. Contributions in Renee's memory may be made to Make-A-Wish. The family invites you to share your memories and condolences by visiting www.awrfh.com.
