Renee Michelle "Foo" Thomas, age 42, of Stryker, Ohio and formerly of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. She was born October 13th, 1981 in Ironton, Ohio to the late, Gail Aldridge-Johnson.
Renee was a 2000 graduate of Oak Hill High School and was most recently an employee of Conagra. She was well-known for her great smile that could light up a room and her ability to make people laugh. She was also known to be straight-forward with her thoughts while still being liked by everyone. She loved animals, especially her own two fur babies.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Matthew Thomas; her daughter, Mackenzie Lewis (Tanner Raynard); her two fur-babies, Baxter and Miles; her sister, Regina (Brandon) Stiltner; two nieces, Ava and Ashtyn Stiltner; her mother-in-law, Debbie Thomas; as well as several aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2023 from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Burial will follow at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to .
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to The Humane Society of Jackson County, 106 Wood Avenue, Jackson, OH 45640.

Renee was always happy and took me under her wing a few times. I loved hanging out with her. After she left Spangler we didn't stay in touch and I regret it but I will always have fond memories of her.

I recently met Renee when she came into Fountain City Nutrition. She was looking for some energy to help her get through the day. She tried a mega tea bomb, loved it and came back the next day for more. She was in almost everyday. One of those days she tried the Trash Can Punch Mega Tea Bomb. From that day on she was hooked. That was the only Tea she got after that. She was a ray of sunshine!!! I loved her bubbliness and her laugh. She was beginning to be a good friend. I will most definitely miss her smile and happiness Sending prayers to you all May God comfort you all during this tragic time.
