Requiere D. "Ricky" Bogan

Requiere D. Bogan "Ricky" passed away on June 11, 2022 at the age of 54. Ricky was born to Mattie Patterson & Requiere Bogan in Miami, FL on March 19, 1968. Predeceased by grandparents Walter Patterson and Irene Patterson-Powell, Aunt Linda Word, all of West Helena, AK, Aunt Inez Patterson of Rochester, NY, and a special friend, Daniel.
Ricky relocated to Rochester, NY in 1974. Ricky then graduated from Wilson High School in 1988. In 2015, he obtained a certificate in CNC Machining and Manufacturing. His hobbies included drawing, listening to music, and spending time with his son. His favorite artist was David Ruffin from The Temptations.
Ricky leaves to cherish his memory one son, Ricky Bogan and 4 stepchildren; Kenny McNair, Maleika Bradley, Khadijah and Shamsadeen Wilson; his mother, Mattie Patterson-Woods, stepfather, Barney Woods. Also, he leaves behind one sibling, Nicole (Walter) Patterson Fuller, one niece, Tanzania Fuller, and one nephew, Walter Fuller. He also leaves Aunts Barbara Jean, Ludie, Thelma Kay and Uncle Marvin of Chicago, IL; Aunt Walter Anne of West Helena, AK; and Uncle Jack Patterson of Rochester, NY; and special cousins Cleotha Terry of Rochester, NY; Robert and Robin Franklin of Chicago, IL, and Brandon Miller of Rochester, NY. Ricky also leaves 5 grandkids and a host of cousins, family, and friends. Ricky will truly be missed.
