Reta L. Jensen, age 86, formerly of Hancock, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Reta was born on January 29, 1939, the daughter of Peter and Frances "Pink" (Warner) Jacobsen in Hancock, Iowa. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Teaching and taught Kindergarten and 1st grade in Iowa and Special Education in Arizona. After her teaching career, Reta moved to the Owen area to be closer to her family.
Reta was united in marriage to Hilarion Jaworski, George Jensen and David Neuman who all preceded her in death. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. Most importantly, Reta loved and cherished her family.
Reta is survived by her daughter, Ann (Robert) Fisher of Owen; her granddaughter, Brittany Garrett of Owen; her extended family: Becky (Dave) Simpson and their family: Cody (Lisa) Plagman, Kristy Plagman and Chris Simpson; four great-grandchildren: Jackson Stine, Connor Plagman, Gracelyn Carpenter and Laci Riggs. She is further survived by her two lifelong friends: Jeanne Ehlers and Peggy Oslin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two stillborn babies, Matthew and Mary and three husbands: Hilarion Jaworski, George Jensen and David Neuman.
