Retha Copas Obituary
The Scottsville, KY native was born on July 2, 1950 to the late James Paul Patrick and Irma Lucille “Christine” Wimpee Patrick Scruggs. Preceding her in death is her brother, Donald Victor Patrick, grandson, Gary Piper and Mary and Kenneth's father, Jerry Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter Mary "Christy" Phillips, two sons, Kenneth Ray Phillips (Loretta) and James Reed Copas (Amanda), her brother James Patrick, five grandchildren; Megan McClard (Dylan), Amanda Gaddis (Zack), Clayton Copas, Brooklyn Copas, and Mackenzie Copas, four great grandchildren; Makenna Talbott, Haven McClard, Rylan Harper, and Locklyn Gaddis, a best friend Debbie Coulter and James' father Roger Copas.
Visitation will be Saturday August 26, 2023 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday August 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
