Retha Paschke Obituary

Visit the Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary (A.R.N. Cremation) - Zionsville website to view the full obituary.
Retha Louise (Eib) Paschke hated her name, but loved her family more than anything. Preferring to be called Ree or Red, she was born in La Porte, Indiana on May 5th, 1955 to Gene and Betty Eib. Ree joined as the caboose of the family, being the youngest sister to BJ Eib, Kathy Weiss, and Mary Dillman. She is also survived by her loving husband, Kevin, who tenderly cared for his bride of 43 years at home, as her disease took her away.
Ree leaves behind her two dedicated children, Brett (Natalie) Paschke and Jessica (Robert) Berretta; and the most beautiful, funny, smart, sweet, grandsons, Benjamin (3), Sam (6 mos), and Theo (3 mos).
The family asks for donations in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association, Brain Donor Project or your local Humane Society.
She will be remembered for her affection that could mend knee scrapes and broken hearts, her contagious laugh, and her perfectly applied lipstick.
When you smell pineapple upside-down cake or hear Bon Jovi, you'll know she's near.
A note from her family: On her headstone she had wanted it to read "Kiss my ass and call me Retha." Our family is still working on this request ;).
Thank you to all the researchers working to kick Early Onset Alzheimer's ass. We're rooting for you every day.
Kevin and family welcome you to remember and celebrate Ree's beautiful life on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at Birdies 632 East IN-32 Westfield, IN 46074 from 3-7pm. A short service will start at 4:30.

Retha was so funny and had such a great personality. She was the live of the party. She was a perfect match for Kevin.

I first met Retha when we both worked for Graham Electronics back in the mid-1970s. I was lucky enough to maintain that friendship long after both of us had moved on. She had a way of making even the most mundane tasks a lot of fun. My deepest sympathies to the family--she will be missed.
