Reuben Thompson Walize III

Reuben Thompson Walize, III, 75, beloved husband and father, passed away on September 28th, 2025. He was born on May 28th, 1950, in Williamsport, PA, to the late Reuben Thompson Walize, Jr., and Marion Smith Walize. He retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathy Walize; his children, Heather Walize, Amanda Townes, and Tommy Walize; granddaughter, Emma Walize-Kubeck; sons-in law Danny Kubeck and Chad Townes; his sisters, Lois Jane Smith, Linda Shreck; brothers, Dean Walize, Dane Walize, Dale Walize; and several nieces and nephews. Reuben was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed tying his own flies. He was passionate about history, especially Lewis and Clark. Reuben loved to work in his garden, spending time with family, and cooking.
