REVA ELSTAD

Reva Minerva Elstad, of Mora, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Welia Health. She was 98 years old.

Reva was born on April 3, 1927 in Mora, Minnesota to parents William and Mary (Salmonson) Ketter. She grew up on the family farm near Mora and graduated from Mora High School in 1944.

On October 7, 1948, Reva was united in marriage to Gene Edmund Elstad. They raised their five children in Mora, Coin, and Milaca. Reva was active in 4-H and was a stay at home mother. Family was her first priority, and she never forgot to send a birthday card to her children and grandchildren.

After retirement, Reva and Gene spent many winters in Texas and Arizona and summers at the Woodcrest Apartments in Mora. Reva kept busy working as the assistant manager at One More Time thrift store for over 20 years. She loved the friendships she made and could tell you where almost anything was in the store. She will be dearly missed.

Reva was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, son Randy, and brother William (Marilyn) Ketter.

She is survived by her children, Russell (Linda), Richard, Robert, and Roxanne (David) Hansen; grandchildren, Stacy, Ryan, Rodi, Theresa, Tabitha, Travis, Louie, Alisha, and Jackie; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Hamilton Funeral Homes- Akkerman Chapel in Mora.

Memorial Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery at Little Falls.
