Revonda Jean Collett Evans, age 77, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2026. She lived most of her life in Alpharetta, GA, where she attended Milton High School. Revonda was a lifelong hairdresser and owned her own salon for years. Known to her clients and husband as “Rhonda,” this is where she met her husband, Jim. She was a loving wife, mom, sister, and aunt to many. She loved making people happy. She loved gardening and had many flowers. She loved dancing, taking daily casino trips with family, cooking, and living life to the fullest. Revonda loved taking care of others and always checking in on everyone. She was one of eleven children. Revonda was the daughter of the late Luke and Era Collett of Alpharetta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Era Collett; brothers; Rolf, Randall, Rex, and Raymond Collett; sisters, Audrey Logston, Lucille Cloud, and Claris Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Evans; daughters, Janine Hayes, Melisa (Chris) Prather; stepchildren, Jimmy (Alexa) Evans, and Lisa Day; grandchildren, Houston Hayes, Hanna (Ayner) Hayes-Benitez, Elliott Prather, Pheobe Evans, Adrian Evans, Julian Evans, Elizabeth Abbott, and JP Sweat; siblings, Ray (Annette) Collett, Pam Cloud, and Marlene White.
A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at West Milford Farm, 7938 Ball Ground Rd, Cumming, GA, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to drop in and visit with the family and share their favorite memory of her.
