Rex Cullen passed away on August 27, 2025 in Gerber, California. Rex was born on September 23, 1969 in Oroville, California, to Ronald O. Cullen Sr. and Wanda S. Cullen. The family lived in Chico, California. Rex attended Chico schools throughout his childhood and graduated Chico High School's class of 1987.

On December 5, 1998, Rex married Stacy Wild in Reno, Nevada at The Park Wedding Chapel. They have two sons, Tyler Roseman of Chico, California, and Bradley Cullen of Gerber, California. Rex and Stacy would have celebrated their their twenty seventh wedding anniversary this December.

Rex worked in the farming industry the majority of his life. He was hardworking, knowledgeable, and skilled - especially when fixing the equipment. He loved spending time with friends and family. Traveling, fishing, car shows, air shows, and watching the races were some of his most treasured experiences. He loved being around people. He had a radiant personality that would draw you in as soon as you met him.

Rex is survived by his wife, Stacy, sons, Tyler and Bradley, granddaughter, Kaylee Roseman, brother, Ronald O. Cullen Jr., his Uncle Russ Cullen (Renee) and many cousins and nieces.

A Memorial Service is planned for 2:30 PM Friday, September 19, 2025, at Brusie Funeral Home, 626 Broadway Street, Chico, California 95928. Following the Memorial Service, a reception is planned at The Portuguese Hall of Chico located at 1401 Broadway St, Chico, CA 95928.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Rex Cullen to The Tehama County Animal Shelter, PO Box 38, Red Bluff, 96080 or an over the phone donation can be made by calling (530) 527-3439.
