Rex Greenlee, 71, of Liberal, passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2026 at the Wheatridge Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.
He was born on November 26, 1954 to Lloyd and Nola (Snell) Greenlee in Shattuck, OK.
He married Alice Yakel on June 14, 2004 in Amarillo, TX. She survives.
Rex graduated from Buffalo, OK, then went on to further his education at the Liberal Area VoTech. He was a Manager/Operator for Sonic in Fairview and Enid, OK many years ago. Rex has also worked in the automotive business for more than 20 years. He loved gardening, enjoyed fishing, and watching his favorite College football team, the OU Sooners. He has and always will be an OU fanatic; "Go Boomer Sooner"!
May Rex rest in peace and as he would say, "Until We Meet Again".
Rex is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Alice Greenlee of Liberal, KS, Daughter, Erinn (Al) Dimpel of Enid, OK, Granddaughter, Kaidynce Greenlee of Tulsa, OK, 2 Grandsons; Zayne Ward and Ezekiel Dimpel both of Enid, OK, Stepdaughter, Stasia (Jared) Wagenseller & four Granddaughters; Cameron (Rene), Natalie, Trinity and Savannah, Great Grandson, Emiliano, Brother, Ray Greenlee of Del City, OK; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Father, Lloyd William Greenlee, Mother, Nola Marie Greenlee, Bother, Max Earl Greenlee, Sister, Mryna Hanson.
Viewing will be 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday February 2, 2026 at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday February 3, 2026 at Trinity Faith Church in Liberal with Pastor Rex Petty officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
