Rex Ray Roth

Rex Ray Roth, 77, of Granger, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in his home. He was born in Columbus, IN, on October 19, 1945, to the late Leslie and Elizabeth (Hiles) Roth. He is survived by his partner, Sandy Henderson of Granger; daughters, Amy Roth of FL and Amanda Roth of PA; sister, Ginger Newell of Kingsport, IN; and a brother, Mark Roth of Columbus, IN.Rex graduated from Columbus High School, Milligan College in TN and had graduate degrees from Indiana University. He worked as a teacher in the Flatrock-Hawcreek School Corporation, as an administrator in the Shelbyville Central School Corporation and retired after serving as the Superintendent of Triton School Corporation in Bourbon, IN. He also served as an educational consultant to the MASE Insurance Trust in Monon, IN.Rex participated in several professional and civic organizations. Most recently, he was very active in Club 15 of Mishawaka.Per his request, there will be no services and cremation has taken place. His wishes are that you remember him as a guy who enjoyed his family and friends. That included playing golf, hoisting a few cold ones, making an occasional trip to the casino and, most importantly, having a good laugh.
