Rhonda Davis Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 27, 2026.
Rhonda Davis (Weatherford), age 56, of Ben Wheeler, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Rhonda was born on September 8, 1969, in Dallas TX. She was raised in Pleasant Grove, TX, & received her High School Diploma from Skyline High School in Dallas, TX. Rhonda's greatest joy in life was spoiling her grand daughters & great nephews, crocheting in her free time and Wednesday night Bingo with her friends.

Rhonda was a woman of unwavering strength, deep faith, and a heart that knew no limits when it came to loving others. After giving her life to Jesus, Rhonda devoted her days to her career working as a Drug and Alcohol Assistant Counselor for children at Sundown Ranch, pouring compassion, understanding, and hope into the lives of those who needed it most.

Known for her strong will and her even bigger heart, Rhonda left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her smile lit up the room, and her laughter was unforgettable- a sound that will echo in the hearts of those who loved her forever.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Michael Duncan; her dear friend, James Weatherford; her children, Morgan Clower & Riley of Grand Saline. Dylan Currie & Shelby, of Ferris; her beloved grandchildren, Addison, Lexi, and Georgia; her niece and nephew, Shelby Garcia & Brayden of Liberty City. Sean Davis & Amanda of Canton; and her cherished great-nephews, Brayden, Mason, and Jacob, of Liberty City.

Rhonda is also survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Patricia Davis & Gene Busby of Canton; her sister, Dawn Davis of Dallas; her step-siblings, Kristy Busby-Smith & Rodger of Canton, Brandi Busby-Rockett & Jordan of Canton, Brandon Busby & Jamie, of Kemp, and so many cherished cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Clyde Davis; her beloved daughter, Jessie Dawn; and her fur-baby, Tabitha Jean.

The family will receive visitors at Troy Suggs Funeral Home on Military Parkway in Dallas, TX on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 From 10am to 12 noon. Funeral services will follow at Troy Suggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 12 noon with Pallbearers; Michael Duncan, Gene Busby, Sean Davis, Brayden Garcia, Riley Clower & James Weatherford. Honorary Pallbearers; Rawley Duncan & Tom Haley.

Rhonda's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the love and support shown by her friends and loved ones during her courageous battle with cancer, and asks that she be remembered as she lived-loving deeply, smiling brightly, and laughing often. Her faith was strong, her love was fierce, and her legacy will live on in every life she touched.

We love you all, and may God bless you abundantly.
