Rhonda Lowe, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on October 21, 1956, Rhonda was a beloved member of the Covington community and a cherished presence in her church family at First Baptist Church of Covington.
A faithful servant of God, Rhonda was deeply involved in her church, teaching Sunday School, singing in the church choir, and participating in the Jubalheirs choir. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and selfless spirit, always eager to lend a hand to those in need and offering love to all who crossed her path. Rhonda was especially close to her cousin, Jim Dial. She gave her heart and soul to Jim, and spent every moment with him.
Rhonda's passion for family, travel, and helping others shone brightly throughout her life. Her legacy of love, loyalty, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her. She worked as a CPA at Carter & Associates for 34 years, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Steve Lowe; son, Jeff Lowe; grandchildren, Liam and Atticus Lowe; brother, Bob Mobley; aunt, Shirley Dial; and numerous cousins, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Rhonda’s life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Covington, located at 1139 Usher St NW, Covington, GA 30014. A memorial visitation will take place the hour prior, starting at 10:00 AM.
She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched.
