Rhonda Lynn Yarbrough Muckleroy was born in Longview on July 12, 1964, to Kenneth Monroe Yarbrough and Virginia Wells Yarbrough. She passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at her home in Granbury at the age of 59. Kenneth and Virginia had five children all who were raised in Hallsville by their grandmother, Viola Wells. After her grandmother passed, Rhonda considered Pastor Morris Ivey her adopted dad. Rhonda graduated from Hallsville High School where in the band she was President her senior year winning many awards. For most of her working career, Rhonda was a property manager. Rhonda loved nature and photography. Her favorite pastime was watching her birds take baths and eating from her feeders. Her photographs were evident of her love of God's creation.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Robert George Muckleroy III of Granbury, her sister, Patricia (Trish) Queen and her husband, Mike Queen of North Richland Hills, her brother Morris Yarbrough and wife Tammy of Longview, her stepsons Robert George Muckleroy IV of Fort Worth and his wife Georgeann, Gene Lucas Muckleroy and his wife Heather of Pleasanton. Her grandchildren were: Robert George Muckleroy V, William Tal Muckleroy, Benjamin Isaac Muckleroy, Sadie Grace Muckleroy, Macy Muckleroy, Reece Muckleroy, Trey Muckleroy and Christina Torres and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Acton Methodist Church Sanctuary and a graveside service will be held at noon on Friday at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Nacogdoches.
Pall Bearers will be: Harold Muckleroy, Steve Muckleroy, Larry Stewart, Alan Watson, Don Steen, and Ray Toler.
