Rhonda Jean Walker, 73, of Royalton, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at her home.
Rhonda was born on July 2, 1952, in Herrin, Illinois to the late Lloyd and Dorlis (Vancil) Inchcliff. She was united in marriage to Elbert Walker on November 8, 1971, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. They had been married for 53 years.
Rhonda graduated from Herrin High School. Rhonda and Elbert enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens in Carbondale. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and loved her three kitty cats. Rhonda and her husband went on golf cart rides all over town every evening and she always looked forward to the ride. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her husband.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Elbert Walker of Royalton; two children, Shawn (Diana) Walker of Royalton, April (Kurt Robinson) Walker of Royalton; five grandchildren, Austin Walker, Tristan Walker, Trevor Walker, Peyton Campbell, Gavin Campbell; two great grandchildren, Raelynn Walker, Emma Walker; one sister, Carolyn Newberry of Carterville and many nieces and nephews.
Rhonda is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Dorlis Inchcliff; two brothers, Dennis Beavers, David Inchcliff and her little dog, Alphie.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2025, at Cundiff Cemetery in Blairsville with Roger Lowery speaking.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cundiff Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery on the day of the service.
Vantrease-Pyle Funeral Home of Royalton is entrusted with the arrangements.
