We met about 2002, felt like I had known you all my life. You gave me so much strength, showed me how to be brave, how to stand up for myself, and taught me some line dances. I had the blessing of being there the last few days of your life. I will carry you in my heart the rest of mine. Your Winnie-Poo is safe, happy, and content here with his buddy Dale-dog. We will be looking out for my butterflies ... We will look after each of our "Seastars" your brother/ our new brother Kyle, and we will celebrate you...until we see each other again. Love you always my beautiful, precious friend. (Have a dance with Patrick Swayze for me.)

Our connection was deep. You were one of my first childhood friends. We grew up in the same neighborhood and our Dads were friends. We went years after high school losing touch with each other and then one day out of the blue we talked on the phone (thanks to Facebook) and you came to Goldsboro and we had lunch together. We cried and cried because we were finally back together again. I will always remember your spunk, your spirit, how you loved to dance, how you lived life without apologies. You could say that I looked up to you because you were such a wonderful person and everyone who knew you loved you. I will miss you but I know you are in a better place and you're well now. Fly high sweet angel! Until we meet again!
