Ricardo Springer Obituary
Ricardo L. "Rick" Springer of Alpine passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the age of 67.
Rick was born in Ithaca on August 26, 1958, a son of the late Gerald and Antoinette (Bacon) Springer. He graduated from Charles O. Dickerson High School in 1976 and worked at Hillendale Golf Course for over 40 years as the Superintendent.
An avid outdoorsman, Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and all things sports related.
Rick is survived by his two children, Adam (Kristi) Springer and Katelyn (Justin Dilger) Springer; two grandchildren, Connor and Addison; and brother, Tari (Dawn) Springer. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Springer.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date.
