Rich Croy Jr. Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory on Oct. 1, 2025.

Richard Dean Croy Jr., 56 of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on September 20, 2025. Richard was born on July 28, 1969 to Richard Croy Sr. and Marlene Bickings Croy in Philadelphia, PA.

He is preceded in death by his father Richard Croy Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Virginia Croy of Colorado Springs, CO; sons David Croy of Harrisburg, PA, Ivan Croy of Harrisburg, PA; daughters Kimberly (Austin) Martino of Chalfont, PA, Gina Croy of Harrisburg, PA; mother Marlene Croy of Lancaster, PA; 5 brothers, 3 sisters and numerous other family and friends.

Richard was known as Rich to most, Richie to his siblings, and Rickster/Ricardo/Poppa Bear to his children. Rich was a man who lived life eager to make others smile. He was always ready with a good joke and made people feel comfortable to be themselves. He loved his family more than anything, and started each day by telling his wife, Virginia, how beautiful she is. Rich was his children's biggest cheerleader – there was no accomplishment that didn't leave him beaming with pride.

Whether it was fishing, fantasy football, hockey, playing cards, or going out to eat, Rich enjoyed the simple things in life. Every year, he looked forward to working the Pennsylvania Farm show with his best friend Chuck, even after he moved away. Rich spent his last few years in Colorado, living out his dream of enjoying the sunsets and mountains with his wife.

While he left this earth too soon, his memory and big heart will live on in his loved ones forever!
