We are heartbroken to announce the sudden death of Richard Ahlgrim, 55, of McHenry. Richard was born in Oak Park on September 14, 1968 to Robert and Mary Ahlgrim.
He is survived by his cherished wife Annie and two beloved daughters Alexandra and Patricia; his mother Mary and two brothers Robert (Elizabeth) and Randy (Beth) Ahlgrim and his twin sister Robin Stevens; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his father Robert Ahlgrim; his brother-in-law Andy Stevens and his nephew John Stevens
Rich had a passion for his country. He was so proud of his daughter's accomplishments, his greatest joy was watching them grow and become young adults. He was looking forward to seeing his oldest succeed in her career and his youngest graduate from highschool in the spring and move on to college.
Rich will be missed by all that loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
