Richard Elliott Armolt was born on December 16, 1944, in Cumberland, Maryland, and passed away on August 26, 2024, at his residence in West Monroe, Louisiana. Richard had a wonderful personality and he never met a stranger. He had an abundance of love for his family, church family and the many friends he had. Richard was a real Christian as he was involved with his church, the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities, in many ministries over a span of 50 plus years. So much more could be said about Richard as he touched the lives of many people. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Armolt Eells; father, Samuel Armolt; brothers, Paul Armolt, Bill Armolt; and sisters, Barbara Paschal and Roxy Custer.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sue Armolt; daughters, Susan Taylor, Betty Wilson, Joy Lambert; grandchildren, Kyndall Taylor, Brooke Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Mikey Anders, Melody Anders; sisters, Shirley Edwards, Debbie McGuire; brothers, Ronald Armolt and Jimmy Ellis; along with other cherished family and friends.
Thank you Elara Caring Hospice for all the love and compassion shown during this time, and a special thanks to RN Betina and CNA Tamela.
