Bazzell, Richard E. of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born January 28, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Silas and Lura (nee Midyett) Bazzell and entered into rest Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 71 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Lura (nee Midyett) Bazzell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia Bazzell; daughters, Katrina Canada and Christina Canada; grandchildren, Jacob Canada, Ashlyn Canada, Savannah Darner, Kyle Canada, Taylor Canada, Bryce Done and Jayce Done; great grandchildren, Camden Noah and Zoriah Smith; siblings, Sandra Moser, Dennis Bazzell, Kenneth Bazzell and Timothy "TJ" Bazzell; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
Richard was a hardworking and devoted man whose dedication was evident in everything he did. As the proud owner of his own TV repair shop in Cedar Hill for many years, he poured countless hours into his craft earning a reputation as a true workaholic in the best sense of the word. His commitment to helping others through his skills made him a trusted figure in the community. Yet, for all his passion for work, nothing meant more to Richard than his family and friends. He cherished the time spent with those he loved, and they knew they could always count on him. His legacy of loyalty, diligence, and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.
