Richard F. Beeman, 86, of Owego, NY passed away at home on Tuesday September 7, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Beeman; also his brothers, Ivan and Donald Beeman; sister, Marlene Stoudt; and his grandson, Anthony Houston. He is survived by his four children, Lorrie and David Schutt, Daniel and Traceen Beeman, Marvin Beeman, Nancy Houston and Robert Allen; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Michael, Ben, Aaron, Paul, Charity, Ryan, Nicholas, Megan, Travis, Brent, Brenda, Andy; 31 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra Mosier, Iola Stephens, Linda and Jim Beauter; his brother, Melvin and Karen Beeman; many nieces and nephews; and special lifelong friend, Pete Ferguson.
Richard was born on February 10, 1935 in Vestal, NY, the son of the late Ernest and Marjorie (Harned) Beeman. Throughout his life, he enjoyed the outdoors- hunting and fishing, as well as, archery and bowling for many years. Richard was a longstanding member of Lakeview Chapel in Owego and a devoted believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Lakeview Chapel, 185 Day hollow Rd. Owego, NY 13827 on Monday September 13, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm, with Pastor David Havener officiating and will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/lakeviewowego. Interment will follow in Tioga Cemetery, Owego. Those wishing may consider a memorial contribution in memory of Richard to the Candor EMS or the Great Commission Fund at Lakeview Chapel. Please share your memories at www.RichardsFH.com
