Richard was born on July 3, 1936 and passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Richard was a resident of Joliet, Illinois at the time of his passing. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was married to Shirley. Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home Friday September 2 2016 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Visitation Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8: 00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials in Richardâs name to the Alzheimerâs Association or St. Paul the Apostle Church would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I knew him when I worked at Geotech, Inc. He always took time to visit at my drafting table and chat with me. Did a lot of drawings for his Condo's. I was proud to call him my friend. My sincere condolences to the Berti family.
