Richard Davis Blue was born on October 29, 1947 in Sacramento,
California to Curry and Evelyn Blue. He passed on May 7, 2024 with loved
ones by his side. He was the 6th born of 16 children. He loved and acted as
a 2nd parent to his siblings. They all took pride in looking after and being
there for one another.
Ricky, with his parents and siblings, moved to Oklahoma in the late 50's.
He spent 6 years in the National Guard Reserve and developed many
lifelong friends in Tishomingo and the surrounding areas. He was known to
be talented at most everything he did. He was skilled at making people
laugh, enjoyed participating in pranks and telling jokes. Ricky endured and
enjoyed many adventures in his life, he was as tough as they come. He
loved his family unconditionally.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings: Anna, Everette,
Johnny, Norman, Randy, Chick, Sissy & Stoney.
Ricky is survived by daughters: Rhonda, Rickeal, Angie, Casey & Nacona,
7 siblings: Nancy, Lester, Todd, Rodney, Billy, Pip & Darrell, and many
grandchildren and & great grandchildren.
Private services are being held to honor Ricky's life.
Services are under the direction and care of Hartwell funeral home. Online condolences may be
