Richard was born in Lancaster on March 9, 1972. He was very polite and never met a stranger. He loved to fish, work on obtaining his GED, visit with friends, and spend time with those he cared about. When Richard wasn't fishing, he spent his days with the Everyday Matters and Thornhill Learning Center.
He is survived by his mother, Clarissa "Tinsey" Boatright, aunt, Judy "Clarena" Etheridge, cousins, Clarence "Puff" (Sharon) Etheridge, Vicki (Lee) Hudson, Jackie Catching.
He was preceded in death by two very special aunts, Lucretia Estill (BB) and Audry Catching, and by two cousins, Anita Catching and Ricky Catching.
Upon his death, he became an organ donor helping those in need.
Richard will be missed by many.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
