Rick Calvert, of North Richland Hills Texas, passed away on August 13th, 2025, in North Richland Hills. He will always be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born January 9th, 1954, in Ft. Worth Texas to Rita Calvert and Shelton Calvert Sr. Rick was a talented musician. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and writing songs. He was a successful business owner, starting Calvert Irrigation in 1999. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Rick is survived by his wife Deanie, his son Carson and his significant other Devin, granddaughter Natalie, Mother Mary, brother Shelton Jr., sister-in-law Deby, niece Tara and husband Jody and children Landon, Maddox and Evelyn, nephew Graham and wife Julia, brother David, sister-in-law Jodi, nephews Cade, Cole and Cai. He was preceded in death by Rita Calvert and Shelton Calvert Sr. Rick chose not to have a funeral but instead a party which will take place mid-November. Details will be given once it is coordinated.
