Richard Charlton Obituary

Richard was a 1956 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and Western Michigan University with his degree in Business. He served as a US Marine from 1957 to 1960. He was employed at Hudson's, W.T. Grant and retired from Union Pump.
Richard is survived by his Wife of 61 years, Judith Fern (Dickinson) Charlton; Daughters, Christine (Rob) Matheson and Cynthia Hughes; Grandchildren, Conrad VanderMel, Shelby VanderMel, Brian Brown and Michelle Brown; Several Great Grandchildren and Brother-in-Law, Ed Starring. He was preceded in death by his Parents and his Sister, Flora Mae Starring.
Richard enjoyed fishing, traveling and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A private family service and interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Hospice.
