Deborah Jo Charlton

Debbie Jo Charlton, 74, of Kaufman, TX passed away on November 8, 2025, at home with her family and loved ones by her side. Debbie was born on September 2, 1951, to JD and Fern Howell in Kaufman. She worked for the Kaufman School District for about 10 years but mostly spent her time loving her family, especially her grandchildren. Debbie did spend time flower gardening, watching hallmark movies and playing board games with her family, while drinking her Dr. Pepper’s. She was a beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her parents, JD and Fern, son Todd Charlton, and siblings: Danny Howell, Judy Clements, and Becky Sims preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Wendy Charlton and husband William Archer; grandchildren: Hunter Thompson and Kristin, Austin Archer and wife Regan, Justin Archer and wife Brooklynn, and Dustin Archer and Mia; granddogs: Duke and Mookie; great grandchildren: Devin Cooper, Chason Cooper, Leighton Archer, Londyn Cooper, Luke Archer, Hudson Archer and Harper Archer; siblings: Linda Hutchison and Dean Howell; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
