Richard George Clem

Richard George Clem, 81, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 11th at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Ivy Tech with an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance and attended DePauw United Methodist Church. He worked for several companies throughout his years, as a foreman, plant manager, general manager as well as working in sales with clients overseas. After he retired, he assisted Our Lady of Perpetual Help School with maintenance. Richard was an avid hunter and between business and pleasure travels with his wife, Terry, he visited almost every state in the United States! In 1994 Richard had his dream house built – a log cabin – but was always known to savor his money.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Terry Ann Clem; son, Tom Clem; daughter, Annie Smith (Matt); brother, Darrel Clem (Janice); granddaughters, Sophia Maria Borkstrom and Harper Renn Smith. He is preceded in death by his son, Richard Joseph Clem and parents Oscar and Lilia Clem.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes. No services have been scheduled as Richard chose to be cremated. Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be forwarded to DePauw United Methodist Church.
