I am a classmate of Rich's from the Class of 1972 of the U.S. Naval Academy. I lost contact with Rich after he left Annapolis in 1970. However, I did hear of him indirectly over the years through other classmates and knew that he was doing well. I remember Rich as a great classmate, always there when you needed him, a real gentleman. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. My wife and I send our heartfelt condolences to the Cline family and prayers in support of your sorrow. Sincerely, Dave and Claudia Fulwider

So sorry for Rich's family upon hearing of his passing. I worked with Rich in VT, and he was always a reasonable man, with a great sense of humor. I remember his laugh and smile very well. So sad, he was so young. He will be missed by many.

Dear Cindy.......I´m sure you don´t remember me, but I was Rich´s roommate at the Academy during plebe and youngster years.
I heard of his passing via a class of `72 newsletter and I can´t tell you what I felt. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Rich and I shared many laughs as well as tears during those years. I recall the first time I met him back in June of `68 to the day he left to go back to Madison.... and everything in between.
Rich is a special friend who I will never forget.
My best wishes to you, Cindy, and your entire family.
Dave
