June 22, 1964 - December 10, 2025
Rick Conrad, 61, of Riverside, Ohio, passed away unexpectantly on December 10, 2025 leaving behind countless loved ones, family, and friends in shock and deep sadness.
Born on June 22, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio to Ashley Sr. and Karen. Rick grew up sharing a close bond with siblings Ashley Jr. (Sindy) and Ann, as well as nephews, Miles and Ryan (Megan).
Rick married his best friend and the love of his life, Tina and they shared 28 wonderful years together. They built a life overflowing with love, security, and unwavering commitment.
He cherished being a Dad to Correy (Jessica), Michael (Mariah), Dalton, Haiden, and Dominick inspiring, by example, foundations fostering honorable values, strong principles, and the importance of maintaining life long relationships.
Rick delighted in the joy of his 6 grandchildren, Jayden, Easton, Krew, Ashton, Lynelee and Maliyah. There wasn’t a game he wouldn’t play, a tea party he wouldn’t serve, a nap he wouldn’t snuggle down to, or a cartoon he wouldn’t watch. Any time he spent with them, he created memories they can keep in their hearts forever.
He leaves an infinite number of friends who could all share their own version of Rick stories, especially his life long best friend, Tony Stephens (Anita).
Rick’s career in sheet metal with Local Union #24, earned him respect and admiration from coworkers and friends alike. He was an inspiration to all.
Rick’s generous spirit knew no bounds. He was always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or do an ugly job. His witty sense of humor and famous one liners will never be forgotten.
Rick-You’ve left a lasting mark on all of us. You are missed beyond words.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm.
