On September 11, 1940, Richard was born in Roseville, Michigan to Joseph and Nellie (nee Baker) Corneil. In 1969, Richard married Linda Johansson in Mount Clemens, Michigan, sharing 56 years together making memories until her passing just one day before his on July 31, 2025.Richard worked at Ford Motor Company maintaining their machines until he retired in 1999. He enjoyed building and fixing things. Richard was the guy to go to if you needed something repaired. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them.
Richard is survived by his son, Richard J. Corneil; step-children, Wayne Spears and Colleen Klein; grandchildren, Monica Spears, Felicia Blair, Rachel Beech, Anthony Spears and Lauren Spears; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Patricia (Dan) Corneil; and many extended family and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; brother, Larry (Glenda "Ann") Corneil; parents and step-son, Steven Spears.
