Sheila Marie Rice

Sheila Marie Rice (McQuillan) of Macomb Township passed away November 13, 2025 at the age of 55.
Sheila was born on July 8, 1970 to Thomas and Barbara (Fredette) McQuillan in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On October 23, 1999 Sheila married Brad Rice at the "Little Wedding Chapel" in Warren, Michigan; together they had three children and were married 26 years. Sheila loved to live life, she was a charismatic person who could light up a room and know everyone's name before she left. She was an amazing wife, mother and pet mom who enjoyed gardening and making memories with her friends and family. Sheila was the strongest fighter; you would have never known the pain and anguish she was going through unless you asked her directly. She was positive and a light to everyone she met, always putting others before herself or her needs. Sheila's presence and light will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Beloved wife of Brad; loving mother of Gavin, Kylie and Mia; adored daughter of Thomas (Mary) McQuillan and the late Barbara McQuillan; cherished sister of Maureen (Andrew) Moreau and Dennis McQuillan; daughter-in-law of Patrick and Dolly Rice; and sister-in-law of Marcie McQuillan, Paul (Shannon) Rice, Ben (Mary) Rice and Sarah (Ryan) Nannini. Sheila is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation for Sheila will be Monday, November 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. A funeral service for Sheila will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. instate at the funeral home.
