Richard Corrin Obituary
November 20, 1951 - March 28, 2025
Richard R. Corrin, age 73, of Neola, Iowa, passed away on March 28, 2025, at Risen Son Nursing Home in Council Bluffs. Richard was born November 20, 1951, in Council Bluffs to Freeman Richard Corrin and Barbara Ann (Adams) Corrin. He graduated from Tri-Center High School with the class of 1970. Richard married Cathy Roane on May 8, 1982, at St. Patrick's Church in Neola. He was a devoted son, life-long farmer who also raised cattle and hogs. Richard enjoyed farming and was a good steward of the land. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Corrin; sisters, Janet Esch of Omaha, Joyce and husband, Tom Page, and Jane Corrin all of Council Bluffs; aunt, Rosezita Adams of Tuttle, Oklahoma; five nephews; seven nieces; and many cousins, relatives, and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Barbara Corrin; grandparents, Walter and Ella Corrin, and Thomas and Anna Adams.
VISITATION with the family, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a ROSARY at 6 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola, IA. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, Thursday, 10:30 a.m., also at St. Patrick's Church. INTERMENT, Neola Township Cemetery wi,th a lunch following at St. Patrick's Hall. The family will direct memorial contributions.
