Richard Robert Crutchfield

Richard Robert Crutchfield was born February 24, 1934, in Marshall MO to John Crutchfield and Hannah Adams. He was the youngest sibling of eight who've all proceeded him in death. Richard had so many nicknames, but he preferred "Crutch". He loved socializing with his family and many friends in Marshall and surrounding towns. He met and married Alice Keith and to that union, two sons, Rickey L Crutchfield and Stewart E Crutchfield were born.
He met Oweda Kinney and married in the early 1970's and inherited six stepchildren specifically the youngest two children. Richard was a man of many learned experiences. He had a green thumb. He loved his plants. He enjoyed Blues music, and he loved James Brown. Richard enjoyed his life and always met challenges with strength. Richard gave his life to Christ in the late 1990's. He joined Swope Parkway Church of Christ under the late Reverand Armor Stephenson. Richard became a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in 2004 where he remained active until his health began to decline.
He leaves to mourn his wife Oweda of the home, his sons, Rickey L Crutchfield (Brenda) and Stewart E Crutchfield (Sharon) both of Jefferson City MO, Nephew Richard (Butch) Adams (Barbara), Stepchildren Christian Kinney James Kinney and Courtney Kinney-Wilson, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and cousins.
