Richard V. D'Amico

Richard D'Amico,76, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 12,2025 at home surrounded by family and his bride of 54 years, Annette. He was born on July 17, 1948 in Bridgeport,Connecticut to Marie and Vincent D'Amico.
Richard served in the US Navy. Honorable discharged in 1971. He was awarded a Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal.
He was married to Annette, the love of his life, for 54 years. They lived up north in Connecticut, where Richard was an Auto Mechanic. His career was successful and prosperous. He had several locations that he owned. In retirement he enjoyed living in the sunshione state. He was a resident of Bareboot Bay, Florida for many years.
Some of his favorite hobbies were minig for gold, spending time with Annete, and of course caring for his grandchildren. He was a Disabled American Veteran life time Member and always participated in the VFW where he lived through out his lfe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Marie, and his son-in-law Michael Kelley.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Annnette. He leaves behind his adored children; son, Richard Vincent D'amico Jr., and daughters, DeeDee Honeycutt ( Donald), Christine Douch (Fred), and Julie Kelley. His cherished grandchidren; Joshua, Andrew, Austin, Nick, Grace, Kaitlyn, Meagan, Brandon, Kara, Jordan, and Vincent.
A Visitation and Committal Service will be held in his honor. Visitation at Strunk Funeral Home of Sebastian Florida, at 10 Am on Tuesday June 17th, followed by the Committal Service at Sebastian Cemetery.
