Richard Davis, age 28, passed away March 9, 2024. He graduated from George County High School and worked as a Boilermaker. He loved all types of music and spent time as a DJ. He was also a die-hard Texas Longhorn fan. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Brittany Davis; grandmothers, Rhonda Dixon and Mary Alice Shook; grandfather, Earl Davis; uncles, Lee Davis, and Robby Busby, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jaxon Allen Davis and Liliana Grace Davis; mother to his children, Alyssa Gilbert; parents, Charles and Rachel Davis; siblings, Destin Lee Davis, Karli Davis, Phyllis Davis, Robby Busby, Katelyn Jaye, and Cole Bradley; grandfather, Will McKee; aunts and uncles, Ramona (Jeremy Hobbs) Busby, Greg Scarbrough, Frankie (Shelia) Davis, Jeff (Diane) Davis, Emery (Julie) Davis, Darlene Davis, Angie (Stacy) Hutchens, Becky Pankinnon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Moments Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Moffett Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robby Busby, Jr, Chris Luker, Dalston Moody, Dustin. S Grant, Dustin. D Grant, Daniel Strahan, Daniel Stringfellow, Kasey Foutain, Aaron Foutain, and Destin Davis.
