Richard "Rick" Lee Davis, 65, of Kearney, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at St. Luke's Good Samaritan Home in Kearney.

The family will hold private graveside services at a later date.

Rick was born February 6, 1960, in Los Angelas County, Calif., to Bobby Lee and Elizabeth Ann (Henderson) Davis. He attended Ravenna High School, graduating with the class of 1978. On November 11, 1979, Rick was united in marriage to Carol Norden at the Litchfield Christian Church. The marriage was blessed with two children. Rick was a longtime employee of West Pharmaceuticals where he was a finish tech.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol Davis, of Kearney; children, Kindra (Derrick) Retterath and their children, Layliah and Loralei, all of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Braden (Amber) Davis and their children, Jude, Clark, Rainbow, Amethyst, Drax and Forest, all of Upland, Neb.; siblings, Betty Joyce Henderson and Mark, of North Carolina, Robert Davis and wife, Deloris, of California, Katherine McGuire and husband, Stephen, of Washington and Bradley Smith, of North Carolina; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
